It's kind of interesting to note that the preset faces have some properties that you can't replicate with the sliders. So, I usually find the closest preset to what I want and edit it from there. It's possible to put the sliders in exactly the same position on two different presets for the same race/gender and end up with two different faces. Locate your way to Documents BioWare Dragon Age 2 packages core patch (You may have to creat the patch folder yourself) and put your newly created.erf file inside. Load or start your game and your present should be the first editable character after the first two default Hawkes. I also havent tried renaming EXISTING presets that OVER-WRITE other presets. I know that IF that was going to work, you would have to leave the name of the existing preset there in the chargen file, and update it with the NEW name of the preset that you renamed. Havent tried that tho, but I think that it'd work.
